Guys, It's 9 days until Halloween. Are you ready? I definitely am. Since parties aren't going to fly at our place any longer (thanks tiny apartment), I figured I'd find another way to celebrate one of my favorite holidays in the form of a spooky movie night. Ok, not too spooky. I don't do horror anymore - you can thank "The Strangers" for that - David and I literally stopped sleeping with our windows open and haven't watched horror film since- that was 7 years ago. So, quirky halloween films it is.
Sprucing up the space to go along with the theme was a must, so we popped into Spirit Halloween for some awesome and reasonable last minute decor options. I'm pretty sure I walked out with a giant bag without breaking $40. Also, they have a pretty sweet selection on costumes - if you're like me and are still looking for one.
No movie night is complete without snacks - So I used the party favor boxes for individual servings of treats: Wasabi Seaweed, Pirate's Booty and G.H Cretors Limited Edition Double Chocolate Caramel Popcorn.
As for the sips, the Spicy Mexican Hot Chocolate was a huge hit {recipe below}.
