Coffee is an essential, right? Like most people I often can't start my day without some form or other of coffee. I often grab a cup and get right back in bed to check emails or go over my to-do list for the day. So I thought it would be fun to team up with International Delight and introduce their newest creamer Simply Pure®. Made with only 5 simple ingredients including real milk, cream and sugar. Simply Pure comes in three tasty flavors, Vanilla, Hazelnut and Caramel. I'm personally a fan of Vanilla, so I grabbed a couple- which wasn't a huge deal because they run for under $2.50 a piece. The flavor is smooth, rich, and doesn't have a strange aftertaste like most creamers do.
Now, new ingredients call for new recipes, so of course the new Vanilla creamer would be an excellent addition to my latte life - and it's ridiculously easy to make especially if you have a milk frother. I have a BonJour Milk Frother, it's manual but absurdly easy to use. Just warm up milk {or creamer!} in the microwave or on the stove, pour into the glass, give it a few pumps, and voila! perfectly frothed milk. It's probably one of the most used kitchen gadgets in my house, and was about $20. Which, is more than worth skipping the arm work out on the stove whisking milk. Just saying.
Easy Vanilla Latte Recipe
3/4 Cup Coffee or Espresso Of Your Choice
3-4 Tablespoons International Delight Simply Pure® Vanilla Creamer
1. If you have a frother, heat up the the creamer in a microwave safe bowl {for 30 seconds} or on the stove over medium heat for 1-2 minutes. Add heated cream to the frother and give it a few pumps until you see the creamer froth up. If you're doing things the old fashion way break out the whisk and give it a go on the stove. Add creamer to a small sauce pan on medium low heat and whisk until it starts to come to a froth {about 5 minutes, but you got your arm work out for the day, so you're good}.
2. Next, pour your espresso or coffee into your cup, add the creamer, and there you go: your quick and easy, flavorful latte that will make even your favorite coffee shop or chain jealous. Feel free to invite friends over to delight in your newly found barista calling.
