Sure Fashion Week is mostly about the clothes but let's not kid ourselves in thinking that is all there is. A huge part of it is the beauty. Whether we're talking hair and makeup to tie the look together before it heads down the runway, or the crazy detail-oriented nail art to add flashes of style to your street style game, it's all there, helping to make it glamorous.
While I tend to be a creature or habit with my makeup- the obligatory cat eye and a neutral lip- there's one thing that I'm constantly changing during the week of Fashion, and that's my hair and skincare routine. I'll be the first to tell you that my skin takes a beating during fashion week. It's usually dry and dehydrated, making it completely lackluster by the time Thursday finally rolls around to end the week. Suffice it to say that by that time, my skin is in desperate need of some TLC. I usually am all about a face mask, tons of re-hydrating and serums to give it a boost, but this season I got lucky and teamed up with Babbleboxx and scored some amazing goodies including but not limited to VICHY skincare products (Is any one super obsessed with VICHY? I've been a long time fan of the Aqualia Thermal cream, it's amazing to say the least).

From the box, I'm favoring the Quenching Mineral Mask, because it's super hydrating and you don't have to wash it off. One less step and more sleep? Yes, please. The Double Glow Peel Face Mask & Pore Purifying Clay Mask are also pretty excellent at minimizing pores, mattifying and brightening my skin. I've been rotating between the three all week.
20% off + Free Shipping on any orders containing the Mineral Pore Purifying Clay Mask, Quenching Mineral Mask, or Double Glow Peel Face Mask. Must enter promotion code: BABBLE MASK at checkout. Offer valid through 11:59pm PST, 10/15/2016. Offer cannot be combined with other discounts or gift sets
I also got a super stylish iphone case (iPhone 6 case) from one of the best, Otterbox. Known for their rugged protection of one of our most valuable pieces of personal technology, the gold, genuine Swarovski crystals embellishment were just the right amount of bling for this season's accessories game, and they actually match my shoes quite perfectly. Twinsies! The super slim, one piece design carries the OtterBox Certified Drop+ Protection seal, meaning the design has undergone a minimum of 24 tests over at least 238 testing hours, including a purse test. Something my clumsy hands are extremely thankful for.
OTTERBOXBABBLEBOXX (use this code at checkout for 20% off plus free domestic shipping, it is case sensitive) It is good until December 31, 2016.
As for hair care, the box contained Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Ginger Hydrocream Whip®, something my hair was in desperate need of, especially after a summer in the sun and a recent color touchup. The whip adds long-lasting, healthy looking volume and moisture without the 'crunchy' look that we dread from whipped products. It fights frizz, leaving hair looking soft and dare I say, touchable, throughout the day. Key ingredients like Awapuhi Wild Ginger and argan oil add moisture and shine to keep the hair looking vibrant even with the use of hair styling tools. I'd have to say it's an at-home blowout's dream (hair below).

Naturally no beauty routine is complete without a smooth leg, so, Tree Hut Bare Moisturizing Shave Oil was the perfect addition to round out my routine for the week. The Shave Oil pampers skin with essential oils like Jojoba Oil and Grape Seed Oil leaving skin feeling soft, smooth and ready to strut around in mini skirts for the week.
Last, but certainly not least, is the LumaBella Cool Mist Straightener. First off, I want to say that I'm not a hair straightener fan but actually loved how this glided through my hair and didn't leave it looking dry and 'fried' at the ends. The LumaBella Cool Mist hydration adds moisture to the hair prior to styling with heat. The added hydration allows you to use a lower heat setting, resulting in less damage and better results. Hello, less frizz and long lasting results.
