Well, it's officially freezing temperatures outside today and I'm not sure if I'm totally on board with losing my 40˚ degree weather. But seeing that it's par for the course when it comes to winters up north I'll get over it. Thus, bringing me to this week's #twowaystowear theme, oversized sweaters. If you were following along to our #styled6ways collaboration last year you might remember these amazing sweaters from Garnet Hill. Basically they can do no wrong with the perfect layering sweaters. I'm 100% obsessed with this Oversized Turtleneck Sweater. You can layer under or over and it's the perfect component for bump styling at any stage, if you ask me. They come in a handful of different colors so if you're looking for the staple you can buy a bunch of, this is it. I stepped outside of my original black selection and opted for grey (Jackie is wearing Black today) and layered up with a cozy blanket scarf, black 'jeggings' and over the knee boots.
Head over and see how Jackie styled her oversized sweater and don't forget to pin our looks for later inspiration. Want to see something styled 2 ways? Let us know!
Check out Garnet Hill's “Merry Mittens Project” is an important initiative that urges everyone to come together and raise $15,000 for a cause, all while soaking up the beauty of the winter season.
From November 3 – December 24, anyone interested is encouraged to snap a pic of themselves showing off their mittens (or gloves/cozy winter gear) and upload it to Instagram with #StJudeMerryMittens. Each post will trigger a $10 donation from Garnet Hill to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, as well as will prompt an increase in the live “Mitten Meter” located on the campaign landing page at www.garnethill.com/stjude. Participants can also participate by uploading a photo directly to the page as well.
