I went straight to the shoe department like I always do, I'm a complete shoe girl. They had a great selection of flats, gladiators and wedges (but again lacking my size, er) . I happened to spot a fabulous pair of Chinese Laundry caged platform heels and a pair of Sam Edelman platform gladiator sandals (on clearance for $20), which I later snagged.
Carlos By Carlos Santana Wedges $49.99
Sam Edelman Gladiator Sandals $20
Dolce Vita 'Carly' $49.99
P2 Ruffle Flats $24.99
Sam Edelman Flip Flops $34.99
The clothes were a little more complicated than the shoes, they we're picked through and I had to really dig to find anything. I didn't quite find very many of the contemporary designers they advertised, but I'm sure that it was just this store and the current conditions. I found a couple cute tanks, a tie dye maxi dress and an adorable rosette sleeved scoop neck (which I had to have).
Ruffled Camp Shirt $12.99
Rosette Scoop Neck $12.99
Ruffled Trapeze Tanks $9.99
Printed Sheer Trapeze Tank $9.99
Tie Dye Maxi $19.99
I wandered over to the bags and spotted the Steve Madden ruffle bag I've been dying to get, for $39.99. It got snatched up before I could go back and get it after trying on all the clothes, I guess it wasn't meant to be. I did however find a gorgeous Cynthia Rowley scarf for $16.99, I couldn't believe it. I saw more designer names on the bags than in the women's clothing, from Michael Kors to Juicy Couture.
All in All, I'm happy with my finds and am looking forward to the newly renovated store. Marshalls has great finds for spring and summer for a lot less. Not to mention, it's the place to find the same designer merchandise as department and specialty stores but for up to 60% less.
