I've been reading your blog for a few months now - I love it! I love scoring cheap finds and really admire you for looking so put together all the time, especially with a toddler! Another thing I really admire is how you wear heels every day! I go to college in Washington DC, and walk all around the city so I am looking for comfortable, walkable, not very high heels to wear every day. I think I am leaning towards an ankle boot or bootie...maybe a platform wedge? I love the pair you bought from forever 21 but I don't think they are practical for my life style. I like the forever 21 chic suedette booties, but I have also had the same worries that you have had in the past, will they hold up? are they comfortable? do they look cheap? etc. Please help me find a pair of inexpensive, cute (comfortable!) ankle boots/booties. My budget is $100 or less.
Thanks so much,
Cheap Chic and Comfortable
What I've come to find with Forever21 and their shoes is that their 'faux suede' shoes are the most realistically non cheap looking shoes they have in store. And surprisingly enough, they're actually quite comfortable. I just tested mine out the other day, and the seem very sturdy and extremely comfortable - they might just be my new running shoes ;). However, if Forever21 isn't an option I found a handful of chic and cheap comfortable booties for under $50 - leaving room for you to buy a couple.

I cant speak for the other pairs of shoes but the Steve Madden Trikki pair is really comfortable. I bought a pair in black about a month ago and I have worn them quite often to work. I have to walk up flights of stairs most of my day talking to other employees and I dont even notice my feet at the end of the day. They have no pain in them what-so-ever for the first time in my life.
I too, have the Steve Madden Trikki boots! They are ridiculously comfy and look great with a skirt or pants.
Great post!
