I'm going to need a little insight on the dress I picked up yesterday at TJ Maxx for $20. I tried it on in the store and I was a fan, got it home and was a little less than a fan. I'm not sure if it's the color, the fabric, my size (I'm sure it would look better if I weren't pregnant), or the lack of accessories (because I threw it on and ran out the door), but I'm not sure what to think about it. I do however love the off the shoulder feel and of course, the ruffles.
So what I'm asking is - Keep or Return?

Keep it! I think its super cute and right on trend with the 70's fashion craze! Throw on some chunky turquoise jewelry to liven it up a little.. and some wedges. You're gonna love it. Those kinds of dresses are perfect when the weather gets warm.
I wanna say return.
You have such an amazing sense of style (I even referred one of my friends to you when he was looking for a pair of shoes for his girlfriend - Jason), but I think this kind of washes you out. I feel like if there was some sort of design on it/were brighter, or if it had more of a shape it would be better.

Keep! Maybe you could color it up with jewelry, a pretty bag and shoes (love those shoes btw) and maybe a fun belt (post pregnancy of course) Neutral colors are totally in this season and I love the feminine off shoulder, ruffle sleeves. It's only $20 sweetie and looks super comfortable. I'm a sucker for comfort and style :)

Going strictly on looks, I say keep. You look adorable, as usual. I'm compelled to say return, though, and here's why: If you feel even a teeny bit insecure in it, you'll never feel like a million bucks. Here's your challenge: go home and accessorize the hell out of it. If you find the right combo of accessories, then keep it. If not, don't hesitate to go find something you really love.
