Being petite sometimes comes with its benefits, like checking out the 'girl's department' every now and then for age appropriate pieces like this amazing cotton dress. I'm especially fond of the braid detail on the neckline and the fact that the empire waist line is perfect for my 'baby bump'. Add some golden accents, a colorful bag, a neutral trench and we're ready for spring.
Tell me, have you ever shopped the "Girl's Department"?
Dress Target (Girls Dept. 2009), Jacket Juicy Couture, Shoes Target, Necklace Vintage, Bag Kathy Van Zeeland, Sunglasses Old Navy
I LOVE today's look. I think it's the turquois/neutral trench combo. As for shopping the girls' dept...no way! I wish I could (I find myself thinking "So cute! Wish they had that in my size!" almost everytime I walk by, but I'm just over 5'4" (not tall, but not petite, either), so there's no way. But jealous that you can do it!!!
Moms Have Style, Too!
Love the color combo! And yes, I've totally shopped in the girls department, like this dress for example:

Although I'm super impressed that you found such a great dress!
I haven't but that is awesome that you have! I love this color and it works so beautifully with the trench and gold jewelry.
I Love this color combo and the braid detail! I used to shop the girls dept. back when I was younger. A couple of years ago my Husband bought me and my daughter matching pajamas in the girls dept. at Target lol.
