I stopped in to one of my local Target's this morning to find the Missoni for Target collection out, and picked through. After snapping a few shots of what (little) I found I opted to hit the dressing rooms and try a couple pieces on. Like other Target collaborations the Missoni for Target's clothing is obviously, made of what else? Polyester. The sweaters had touches of acrylic which ruffled my feathers a bit, mainly because $50 for a sweater, Target, or not means acrylic should not be included.
So I made my way to the shoes, finding that the suede shoes were clearly the best of the selection, and it just went downhill from there, the rain boots were flimsy and the 'paint' was smudged which was disappointing to see. Whereas the flats just looked cheap...
I will say the home wares were by far the best, I loved the vases, frames and bedroom sets.
And since I'm moving into our new place next week I will be returning for what pieces are left of the selection. And though I left empty handed with thoughts of going back to just to buy and sell on Ebay, I will say it is one of the better collections of Target's Go International but I just wish they would branch out of their typical polyester usage, silk and cotton isn't that much more...
What'd you think of the collection?
I love that you take photos while in the store...and dressing room! I was not very impressed with their selection of clothes either. BTW the sweater in the last photos looks awesome!
I was there this morning and actually like the pieces I was able to get. Not sure where you are at, but it was crazy in Chicago and in a matter of 5 minutes every single piece of clothing was out, people swiped all the interior stuff, so I'm impressed that your store still had stuff left in your photos! Great share. I'll probably return some of the stuff, but overall, I liked the dresses. I saw someone with a bike, it was pretty awesome :)
Great post.

I'm doing this exact thing later today. I agree, the collection is nothing to write home about. The heels are the only thing I'd likely wear. There are a few of the housewares that peaked my interest, like the black & white zig zag shower curtain.
I loved the sweater in the last photo but couldn't get myself to drop $50 on something that was mostly acrylic. eugh.
However I loved the housewares, especially the zigzag curtain which I plan on putting in my bathroom!
Oh man... your store had more than mine! I got to my Target store at 10 this morning and all of the bedding was gone already, there was only a few clothing selections left, the dinnerware was picked through, the shoes only had one of each in each size, and I couldn't find the storage boxes. I tried going on the Target website but its down too. Sheesh! What a mess.
I hit up the store this morning at 8am when they opened. I got the sweater you tried on. The others pieces didn't look good on me. I went back at lunch and everything was gone!
I'm in New York. Everything sold out, people were waiting outside from 6am.
Honestly, the colorful pieces are nice but everything else wasn't worth the price. I want to get a dress and a bag. I didn't get anything but the associates said they should get another shipment later in the week so I will just be calling everyday to be on the lookout. The black shoes were nice too but of course my size was sold out!!!
Great! Love this review, the good and the bad. Hopefully the pieces that were scooped up won't be as "bad".

Your Target fared better than mine, of course I couldn't make it in until after work. I ended up purchasing a shirt and the shoes...but I may return them. I'm not in love with the quality which is disappoingting.
I couldn't make it to the store but had a friend pick up one of the silky scarves for me. Hopefully it looks as good IRL as it did in the picture!

Your store still had so much! I bought online before the crash and went to two different stores later in the morning.
AGREE that the Housewares were best.
DISAGREE on the shoes. I LOVE the flats (I don't think they look cheap)and did not like the heels at all (I know I may be alone on that comment and I am sure the heels will look good on my blogger buds that bought them)
AGREE that the prices were steep for the materials used. i was into everything else BUT the actual women's apparel. Haha.
WOW Your store had a ton left! By 8:15, practically everything was gone! You're lucky! :) I personally wouldn't wear a lot of the clothes, but love the home decor, luggage, etc.
