One of my favorite colors as a child was periwinkle, everything was periwinkle and lavender in my room, everything, even the walls. Who knew years later that the color would be just as alluring to me, and bring back the fondest memories of making Barbie and all her friends fabulous dresses, that may or may not have been periwinkle.
