It would seem that baking and 'creative' cooking has been put on the back burner while I finish putting the house together before Evan's 1st birthday next month (Really it's been almost a year, I cannot believe it). Good thing smoothies are quick, easy and convenient, and they're even more popular with the toddler than I anticipated, and he knows spinach is in it (he put it in himself)! I am loving this green goodness, and since some of you wanted more healthy alternatives, (smmmh chocolate is healthy) here's today's recipe. Xo.
Apple, Spinach and Banana Smoothie - 3 Servings
3 Apples - Peeled, Cored and Sliced
2 Bananas
3/4 Cup Milk, Soy Milk or Almond Milk
1 1/2 Cups Baby Spinach
Mix ingredients together in blender, puree until fully blended. Serve Cool and Enjoy.
I've been trying to get brave enough to add some greens in my morning smoothy...you've convinced me to try with this recipe!
Sounds really nutritious and it's time I tried and added this as well hehe :) sounds great for the diet.
This just calls my name! :) Yummy!
