5 Ways To Wear - Statement Shoes

I can't believe how quickly this week has slipped by, it seems like it was just Monday, and since it slipped by so quickly I forgot to schedule this week's 5 WTW Blogger Edition. Major Fail. So what better way to make up for it that to show of some of my favorite ways to (pick &) wear statement shoes.

Obviously it's no secret that I have a fascination for footwear, especially when it comes to my ever growing collection. And with that comes plenty of pieces that have no problem making themselves known in my daily life (and posts)...

1. Boots
Since Fall is my all time favorite season, it's only practical to have a love to boots of all shapes and sizes, even these extremely high but amazing boots gifted from My Dressy Ways. Jeans are always the easiest way to make a pair of boots really pop, is it fall yet?

2. Print 

My love for print carries right on over to my shoes, making even the simplest outfits pop and getting dressed all the more fun...

3. Color

It's a rarity to see me lacking color on my footwear choices, who doesn't want a pop of color to brighten their day? Pair color with color and now we're talking, there's no outfit that can't be paired with color...

4. Details

For me it's the details that make the shoe really shine, whether it's color blocking or pretty scalloping, it catches my eye and makes it more likely to land a spot in my closet...

5. Textured

Texture more or less, goes hand in hand with detail but since they're so different to me, they deserve their own catagory. Croc embossed heels have become a favorite, especially when they're a soft cognac leather.
