If you're a long time reader you know I have his enormous love for mexican hot chocolate and could probably talk your ear off about the amazing taste and benefits. So when I was whipping up a batch of brownies for the boys before I left It occurred to me that if I added cayenne and cinnamon that it would turn into my lusted after warming drink. Turns out that idea, genius. It was like biting into chocolate, tasting cinnamon and then getting a tiny little kick of heat at the end, I can't even, people. You have to try to believe, and afraid of spicy, just use the cinnamon.

Oh wow this looks good. I love brownies but normally they are so rich that I can only eat a bit or two before that's enough for me but with the pepper and the cinnamon it looks really delicious. I'm going to have to give this a try! (I wounder if it would work for chocolate cake as well?)
Mmmmm, I swear that you post some of the best recipes! This one's definitely going on my "To Bake" list ;)
