Last season while I was waiting for the BCBG show I caught the Nicholas K Spring Collection on the live stream screen, and was inspired by the layering and caps they designed and styled for spring. This season I was lucky enough to be invited to the show where I proceeded to be even more blown away by Artic Exploration (in the late 19th and 20th century) inspired collection. With crisp colors to emulate the vegetations and auras, paired with brilliant whites and heavy layers brought to life the inspiration. Draped layers of knits, fur, and leather adorned both male and female models, as well as hooded capes and utilitarian googles to finish off the look. Prints were found in a variety of styles, ranging from greens to grays. Clearly the brother sister duo have a knack for all things layers, and we know I love a good layering.
And in case you're wondering where my photos are, turns out the fashionisto in front of me in the skunk hat managed to get more in the way than originally expected, so People's Rev was kind enough to send over their images by Randy Brooke. These are my favorite looks from the collection.
