I'm an avid lipstick wearer and have been for years, for some reason I prefer it to the high shine sticky and glossy types (Unruly hair and gloss are enemies). It's easier to apply and I always feel much more polished regardless of the color. Since I've had plenty of time these last few years to test the budget lipstick waters I've found that not all are made equally. So of course when reader Kimaro emailed me last week asking me for my cheap picks for a newcomer to the lipstick community, I couldn't help but get excited.
With that being said here are my favorite lipsticks under $10...

I'm a fan of Rimmels lipsticks/stains too. I love their just bitten lip stain - it's probably my most used product of anthing i own.

I love the new Whispers, but I tend to always go back to Revlon. My two ultimate faves are Loreal though.

I have used Covergirl Outlast lip colors for years. They really do stay on, and the topcoat that comes with it is soft and not sticky. Love the Revlon Blackberry!

Ohhh will have to try those Nyx blams! I like to have a balm with a little color for when my lipstick is fading but I'm not quite ready to reapply yet.
I'm still on the hunt for the perfect fuchsia lipstick so I might have to check your picks out!
Will have to try some of these! Right now, I really like the Revlon lip butters.
