Last season at New York Fashion Week I spied Sheer styles on just about every runway, from embellished gowns at Badgley Mischka to sheer paneled maxi’s at Mara Hoffman and bondage inspired leather and lace styles at BCBG Max Azria. All very feminine with their own touches of edge and personality, fitting for just about everyone.
Luckily I had finally taken the plunge and opted to add a little more sheer in my life before falling in love with Spring 2013’s collections, I even got brave and only layered them with bralette tops and high waisted bottoms. This season I plan on adding a whole lot more to my closet and even recently scooped up a handful of tops the printed variety. And since Sheer has no plans of disappearing anytime soon since It was spotted again last month at fashion week I think it's time to find a way to embrace in the simplest ways.
Grab a sheer paneled shirt with jeans or leather leggings if you’re still on the fence or go bold with full on printed tops with bandeaus and a high waisted skater skirt. And for our delicate lady like styles show a smidge of skin or style up some peplum. Luckily you can find all of these at Target for $30 and under, so why not stock up?
