Styling a Striped Tee for Spring

Stripes are one of those styles that are always and on trend without fail, and since spring is all about layering I thought it would be fun to style Target's Ultimate V-Neck Striped Tee ($8) a few ways to get you in the mood for stripes, while playing with a little bit of print and color, of course.

A classic stripes styling would be layering a crisp blazer over your tee, pairing with skinnies and a bold pair of shoes, preferably on the taller side of things. To me no stripe is complete without a spot, so leopard and stripes have always been one favorite prints to play with. Add an extra print in the mix if you're feeling bold, and keep accessories on the subtle side to let your wardrobe do the talking. Obviously dressing up that simple ol' tee is made even more fun by pairing it with a leather(ette) skater skirt, blazer and sometimes topped off with a contrasting scarf.  Now if you're not feeling up to print mixing opt for a bold red lip to keep things chic, and obviously a pair of glamourous sunglasses don't hurt anyone.
