Last weekend David and I were invited to stay at the adorable, hidden gem, SobeYou Tropical Bed and Breakfast for our MBFWSwim trip. Nestled in the heart of the art deco district, SobeYou walking distance from just about everything from South Beach to Lincoln Rd, but just far enough away to have some peace and quiet (which we were craving...).
After running a little late we finally arrived and were greeted with snack and refreshments, and introduced to our amazing suite, a room that I had trouble leaving all weekend. Equipped with two walk in closets, a fully stocked mini fridge, a cozy bathroom and an extra room (perfect for the boys when we return).
The quaint 10 room Inn, built in the 1800's still carried the original deco frame work all the way down to the doors and door knobs. I kind of died a little bit, it's flawless.
We moseyed out to the pool before heading over to The Raleigh for the shows, and had to resist the urge to get lost lounging by the tropically set pool area. Though we briefly returned before cozying up into our room after the events. Breakfast was lovely the next morning, we were served fresh fruit, omelettes and toast. The breakfast area also had a bar with cereals, oatmeal and cakes, if you weren't entirely filled up from round one.
Aside from our amazing room, I'm going to have to say that the dedicated staff really made our stay, you can tell they each love being part of SobeYou. Would I recommend staying? Absolutely, I will never stay anywhere else when we come down this way...
(We're already planning another trip..)
disclosure: we were given accommodations at SoBeYou, all opinions are 100% my own
