Ok, last night's Golden Globes dresses were flawless. I loved almost all of them (and was slightly confused by the others ie: Julia Roberts, I wanted to just cut that white right off).
Since I spotted a good number of trends on the red carpet it was hard for me to pick just one, but for me the Floral Embellishments just stood out. I found them pretty, feminine and playful at the same time. Zoe Saldana in Prabal Gurung was absolutely flawless from head to toe. Off the shoulders, sheer, black and white with intricate embellishments - done and done. My other favorite was of course, Drew Barrymore in Monique Lhuillier. The pink and red flowers over the sheer overlay just fit beautifully on her bump. Simply pretty (Sorry Olivia, she's my pick for best bump style..). Berenice Bejo in Giambattista Valli, was a whole lotta floral but I kind of loved it.
Because I was so in love with Floral Appliques from the Red Carpet, I teamed up with Diet Dr Pepper to give them my own One Of A Kind styling, the 'real way'. Of course I had to use my newly acquired sweater because it was kind of perfect for the job, Am I right? Keeping it simple with the other pieces made it easy for popping out for errands while staying true to my inspiration..
