Winter Sparkle Nail Tutorial

With the winter weather causing us to bundle up more (and more),  it’s time to start thinking about getting creative with your beauty looks. after all we all love a little sparkle here and there, Am I right? So when I teamed up with U by Kotex to create a fun Winter ready mani, I knew some sort of glitter was in order. Instead of going the typical route (all over sparkle), I decided to try my hand at ‘polka dots’ to create a faux embellished, gemstone inspired manicure to keep me smiling this winter (while slushing through the snow). Just enough sparkle without going over the top, though I’m not sure you can really go over the top with a little manicure sparkle.

What You’ll Need:

A Bobby Pin Or Dotting Tool

Sally Hansen’s Salon Manicure Black and Blue (Base Coat), Sally Hansen’s  Salon Manicure Mermaid Tale & Jaded

How To:

1. Apply Your Base Coat Let Dry.

2. On a piece of paper (or cardboard in my case) dab a small amount of nail Mermaid’s Tale & Jaded.

3. With your “tool” dot Jaded in diagonal lines across your nails, let dry. Next, dot Mermaid’s Tale in the blank spaces between. Let dry and apply a top coat.

4. Voila! Quick & easy, gemstone inspired nails to add a little winter sparkle in your life.
