If you follow me on Instagram you probably know by now that I was in St. Louis last week for their Fashion Week {for the second year in a row}. Several bloggers from around the country were flown out for 5 days of style in the up and coming fashion capitol. We watched emerging designers compete for $15k, top designers, Yigal Azrouel, Timo Weiland and Tess Giberson show their Spring 15' collections and met the incredible (and stylish) bloggers from the St. Louis area. I'm not going to lie, the week went all too fast and I was sad to say my goodbyes when the time came. But there's always next year, right?
So, with that being said, I'm sharing my highlights from my experience at this year's St. Louis Fashion Week, and kicking things off the with amazing emerging designer competition from Wednesday night. Guys, be on the watch for these designers. Selected from all over the country these talented Gals (and guy) wowed me and the judges with their collections. I was personally drawn to fellow New Yorker, Collina Strada's luxe leather silhouettes but it Daniella Kallmeyer who went home with the $15K check from Brown Shoes.

The next morning we headed over to Naturalizer for a quick bite and to try on shoes, because who doesn't love an hour (or two) in a shoe store? I've personally been all about the brand since they introduced me to David Bromstad for Naturalizer. I eventually went home with the Tanya booties {leopard} after much deliberation between those and all of the other boots from their other brand, NAYA. Naturalizer's Fall options are incredible, the boots, the oxfords, eep.
As for the Designer series we got a taste of Tess Giberson, Timo Weiland and Yigal Azrouel's Spring 2015 collections. Everything was gorgeous, naturally. I have to admit I'm partial to Timo and Tess's style esthetics.
After the shows we headed to the Grand Hall for a massive after party to wrap STLFW with Timo Weiland, where we danced under the gorgeous light shows of Union Station.

The next night we headed to the Saint Louis Fashion Fund Gala wearing Timo, naturally. We spent a good chunk of our time with CFDA Icon, Stan Herman & Timo Weiland, but also bumped into Derek Blasberg & Fern Mallis before heading to dinner.
Rounding out the week was the Midwest Fashion Conference at Wash U where I served on the Marketing panel next to some incredibly talented PR mavens from Dallas, St. Louis & NYC. I was so happy to offer some insight from my perspective as a blogger & stylist, and talk to other bloggers about my experiences with TfDiaries.

I am so grateful for the amazing experience and meeting so many great people that I now consider family. I'd like to send a big thank you to the talented Lindsay Pattan and the Alive Magazine team for bringing me out and introducing me to such wonderful, dedicated crew. Be on the watch NYFW because St. Louis is about to show you who's boss...
