To kick things off this week I've teamed up with L'Oréal to write a letter to my hair, because let's be real, things with our hair tend to get complicated. Check out the video version below and write your own letter to your locks!
We've had our ups and downs over the last 20 something years but I think it's safe to say, I love you. Sure, you tormented me through middle school presenting that mortifying 6th grade picture of what I can only be explain as a frizzed out afro. It's ok, I returned the favor years later by bleaching you {horribly} with an at home kit, which then resulted in tons of money lost, more bleaching and a pixie. I was ok with that, it gave me the confidence I needed as a teenager. You and I have had somewhat of a love hate relationship over our lifetime together, me tugging too hard while brushing these easily tangled locks you were kind enough to give me, but you made it up to me by blessing me with the naturally beachy waves that I've finally come to embrace. Things can't always be perfect between us, but thankfully I've had some help along the way to tame the uncontrollable frizz that sometimes occurs. I like when you're happy which is why I often find myself trying new things with you, though I continuously make the bad choice of bangs. Thankfully we some how find a way to work it out with only a few bumps along the way. I have never try this brand of shampoo out. I going to have to look in to it.
I'm contemplating chopping my now medium length hair.. but seeing yours so nice and fluffy, I might wait a bit! I don't think we have that line in Finland, haven't seen it in shops.
