It's no secret that I'm a girl about 70's inspired fashions. It may or may not have stemmed from my love of mom's macrame and bohemian pieces when I was a kid, or when the retro scene was at it again in the 90's {I thought I was styling in my daisy print dresses and overalls in 5th grade}. So, when I saw this month's Burlington Style Squad theme was all about the 70's, I could not wait to get started. This month, I actually put together two looks for about $75.
So far the faux suede tan dress {$15} is a closet favorite. I've already worn it a half a dozen times in varying styles, this one by far being my favorite. Tip: Don't be afraid to layer your pieces. This tank dress looks even better layered over a turtleneck for a more retro vibe.
Of course, no bohemian outfit post is complete without a little fringe, so this vest paired with this awesome dress {$50} was an easy fit with my favorite boots. I'd have to say it's another successful shopping month at Burlington.
