I’m always on the hunt for a great foundation to take me from day to night with minimal touch ups. But more often than not, I feel like I’m either wearing a mask because the foundation is too heavy or it doesn’t even make it past the afternoon.
You know the struggle.
So, I gave L’Oreal® Infallible Pro-Matte 24hr. foundation a shot. It’s light-weight, long wearing formula goes on smooth with the promise of lasting up to 24 hours. For me, I love the air-light formula, it feels like a tinted moisturizer but with excellent coverage.
The matte finish doesn’t fall flat on my face and doesn’t budge on my oily prone skin. I didn’t make the full 24 hours, but after 17 it was still intact before I washed it off and hit the sack.
Protip: I forgot primer one day and the makeup settled into some of my {oversized} pores, it wasn’t very noticeable but I now know to always wear a primer with it to keep things flawless.
How I Applied It: Skip the brush and opt for a damp beauty sponge {I use the beauty blender}. Smooth on to skin in a rolling motion and blend. The coverage is buildable, so repeat until desired coverage is achieved. I was satisfied with one layer, which gave medium coverage. Finish with L’Oréal® Infallible Makeup Extender Setting Spray {obsessed}.
