3 Summer Style Essential Under $20

Now that I'm officially back from vacation it's time to start getting my summer closet in order.

First up, shopping! When it comes to picking out fresh duds I tend to steer towards the same types of pieces: flowing dresses, bold prints, and some sort of color. I usually don't give anything else a second look. Which is why when Marshalls challenged me to shop some Summer essentials and open myself to new possibilities while doing so, I had to say yes. Sometimes you just have to break out of that same ol' system of buying the same types of pieces over and over again. So, I headed in-store and scoured the racks for something 'new'. Their current offerings are amazing, I couldn't believe how much of the on-trend style essentials were on the floor. They had so much stuff. Hello, off-the-shoulder dresses and top, TONS of denim, and stylish sandals galore. After a few trips to the dressing room I decided on these three pieces to kick up my summer style and without spending over $20 apiece. Success.

My favorite and most surprisingly find? I think it might just be the round crossbody, it was such a great statement piece hiding in the handbags. Naturally it was the last one so I didn't let it out of my site until because it was such a steal at under $20. How cute are these details {It's kind of Rebecca Minkoff esque, right?}? Plus, it fits EVERYTHING. My most unexpected piece? Definitely the cut off chambray top. It was a last minute grab before hitting the dressing room and it ended up being the first "definitely" coming home with me. The blue off the shoulder dress was such a lucky find, I found it wedged in the rack and scooped it up immediately. No summer closet is complete without an off the shoulder dress, especially when it's $17 and has these adorable pom details!
