Back To School With Kohl's: One Dress, Two Ways

I can't believe summer is almost over! Where did all the time go? Ack. Now that we're moving so close the autumn months and all of the awesome events that come along with the season (one being Back To School), I figured it was time to start adding to some key pieces to my closet to make transitioning to the cooler weather a little easier. So, I'm teaming up with Kohls.com for the next couple of weeks to share some of my favorite finds (via the Kohl’s Juniors Apparel Page) that are not only perfect for heading back to class, but out afterwards as well. First up, this fab Candies dress. For just under $40 this little floral dress packs a massive punch for making a statement on even the laziest dressing days with minimal effort.

For daytime, I'm all about channeling my inner 90's girl and throwing it on with an oversized denim jacket, white sneakers, and a print backpack. Want an extra pop? Add a lace or faux suede choker.

For later, why not add some extra layers to your look? I grabbed one of my fall favorites, the turtleneck, to add an easy layer and a little bit of texture to this otherwise super-feminine dress. For shoes, I switched out my trusty sneakers for textured socks and an edgy pair of booties to toughen things up. Finish with the oversized denim jacket, and voila: you're fall ready.
