I am READY for Thanksgiving this week. Who's with me? We bought a turkey, have tons o' pumpkins readying themselves to become pies and are ready to get cookin'. I'll be wearing stretchy pants for the occasion since we're keeping it low-key with the boys so I can literally wear my pajamas to feast and no-one will know the better.
If we were going out I would definitely be slipping on one of the few denim pieces worn on my apple picking + pumpkin patch adventure with DL1961 last month. I ended up changing outfits a couple of times during our trek and thought these three looks would be the PERFECT Thanksgiving outfits. Red leather boots included..
Look #1 - Fuzzy Sweater and High Waist Relaxed Denim
While anything around the waist for Thanksgiving isn't ideal this give you plenty of room for turkey and then come. I love that they're lightly distressed and have a more relaxed boyfriend or mom-jeans silhouette which is perfect for keeping things casual. Of course the addition of a cute fuzzy little sweater doesn't hurt. This one, you'll be wearing on repeat from Thanksgiving through New Year's is a whopping $12 and comes in a TON of colors so you have to check it out.
Look #2: Oversized Denim Jacket + Chunky Sweater
Oversized denim jackets are huge right now and great for layering. I threw mine over one of my chunky sweaters and called it a day. It's the perfect camouflage for food babies...
Look #3: Plaid Coat + Coated Denim
Coated denim dresses everything up. Add a cozy chunky sweater and plaid jacket and it's the perfect casual glam get-up. Give your lips a good swipe of long-lasting matte color and you're good to go.
