Pantone announced their color of the year last week and I for one am ALL FOR IT. It's no secret that I love color, but when it comes to classic blues - the sky is the limit! Before we delve into all the places we can incorporate the newest "IT" color of the incoming decade we're going to talk about one of my FAVORITE places to sprinkle in shades of blue.
Classic Blue is timeless, elegant and is the perfect addition to any space- whether it's throw pillows, an accent wall, ceiling, or contrasting kitchen island. Let's check some simple ways to incorporate the color of the year into your space.
Go Big and Paint An Entire Room Blue
We painted the boys room blue and never looked back. It made their tiny little space stand out and appear even bigger.
Or Just An Accent Wall
Jackie's accent wall makes me want to dust off my paint brush and add an accent wall to our new space.

Give Your Ceiling A Very Blue Makeover
Painting your ceiling may be one of the trickiest ways to go but it was more than worth it. Think waking up to a calming big blue sky every morning.
Make Your White Kitchen Pop with a Blue Kitchen Island
This is probably one of my favorite pieces in Jackie's new apartment and I am all eyes on the statement-making blue kitchen island.

Make A Statement With Blue Furniture
I instantly fell in love with these leather blue chairs at The Study at Yale and I've since been on the hunt for something similar in style for the new Casa Zietz
Our blue crib will always be a favorite in my book!
Incorporate Tiny Blue Details...
Ok, it doesn't have to be big like painting an entire room- little details can pack a huge punch.
Bedding
Planters
Throw Pillows
Rugs
Serveware
So are you here for adding some Classic Blues in your home this year?
