When we first revealed the boys room in August we were missing a key piece, the wallpaper. It was on back order and then after it arrived a couple of weeks later. I set it aside and totally forgot about it until recently when I was inspired to complete the space with some art. I dug the wallpaper out, threw it on the wall (this one was a tricky one - oof!) and picked out some finishing touches from Poster Store.
I am THRILLED with how everything came together so perfectly. Sure, their dresser is now covered in a lego 'art installation' but it was nice to look at while it lasted.
Let's talk details...
Wallpops for another win with the Saybrook Peel and Stick Wallpaper in Navy. It's such a dreamy, calming print for their room and makes me want to hit the beach with a board and paddle out. It brightens up their room and is the perfect accent to their navy hued walls.
Next, art work courtesy of Poster Store. They're a great place to scoop up high-quality, affordable prints and frames for your space. I LOVED these three prints and immediately knew they belonged in the boys room (I have about a half a dozen pieces in the office too - reveal coming soon!).
Before a decision was made I asked the boys for final approval and to help narrow down my picks. These are the three they ended up choosing for their gallery wall. They were secretly my favorites too. To stay on theme with the wallpaper I opted for more waves in different transitions and of course, a turtle, because who can resist a sea turtle front and center?! Obviously not me and the boys.
